The "Pay once, run forever" business model has been around since the first hybrid corn seed ad was painted on the side of a barn. The benefit to the advertiser is that it makes the Cost for 1000 impressions very low. Assuming a twister or fire does not take the barn down, the cost per impression approaches zero as time passes. How much time passes to reach the desired CPM. is the key to costing. As more ads are sold, and additional panels are added, the time to reach another thousand impressions becomes longer. I call this the ROI time The ROI time is shortened by increased traffic, and reduced by adding panels, so even though the price remains constant, buyers make their decision based on ROI time.

Note that the ROI-time is determined by market forces, the price remains the same, a penny a pixel on display panels, and $20 per line for text links. Early birds benefit while there are so few pages in the rotation, 1000 impressions will be achieved very swiftly.

Graphic Ads are either in a rotating panel, as on the top of this page, or fixed to a page. An example of a fixed panel is at the bottom of ANYHOO.com

The price for a graphic ad, which includes a tool-tip, and link, is just one cent per pixel.
Ads may be as small as 10 X 20 = 200 Pixels ($2) up to the full panel size 728 X 90 = 65,520 Pixels ($655.20)

New banners added to rotation as needed depending on ad size purchased.

Banner rotation uses statistically accurate externally seeded randomization.

Fixed page ads may be as wide as the existing panel, the height will be increased as ads are added, with oldest ads at the top.
